Barcelona, Spain, 12 June 2019 China-Europe Freight Forwarder Logistics Enterprises (Spain) Fair opens in Barcelona, Spain, on 12 June. About 400 business representatives and guests from more than 50 countries, such as China, Spain and Germany, attended the meeting to discuss business in the fields of China-EU liner, cargo aviation, logistics park and so on.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Barcelona Port President Moss Goneza said that the exhibition will give Chinese and foreign enterprises an opportunity to establish direct and reliable cooperation face to face and promote closer trade and logistics exchanges between China and Europe. China has always been a strategic partner attached great importance to Barcelona Port. 42% of the containers arriving at Barcelona Port each year come from China, and 10% of the total export volume of Barcelona Port is exported to China.
Wang Yingqi, business counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Spain, said in her speech that international freight logistics is an indispensable part of international commodity trade. As an important platform for sharing international trade information, the exhibition will create more opportunities for enterprises from all over the world to exchange and cooperate, and make international trade more prosperous.
Dan Madge, chief executive of the world freight Union, said that in this era of challenges and disadvantages, China is still the driving engine of the world's logistics industry, and the projects and investments brought by the "one belt and one road initiative" will bring great opportunities to the whole industry.
The exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and hosted by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China for three days.
