Reporters recently learned from Chengdu International Railway Port that by May 31, 2019, the number of Chengdu international liners had reached 1041, with an increase of 41.2% over the same period last year, a comprehensive heavy haul rate of 91.3%, an increase of 25.3% over the same period last year, and a transportation value of $2.48 billion, an increase of 65% over the same period last year.

 

According to reports, from January to May, Chengdu's international liner traffic and freight value increased significantly, among which, the growth momentum of China-Europe liner (Chengdu) - Russia special line and ASEAN international Rail-sea intermodal liner was strong.

 

China-Europe Banlie (Chengdu) -Russia Special Line opened 182 lines from January to May, up 264% year-on-year, and the value of goods increased 658.60% year-on-year. Russian import and export goods such as wood, pulp, zinc concentrate and "Chengdu Made" vehicles, clothing, shoes and hats, luggage and so on have become the main products of Russian Special Line.

 

ASEAN International Railway-Sea Intermodal Transport Line has 235 rows, an increase of 343.4% over the same period last year, and the value of goods increased by 614.1% over the same period last year. Its category has also increased from single chemical products to machinery, wood products, metal products, western medicine and clothing. At present, ASEAN international Rail-sea intermodal transport has covered five continents, 49 destination countries, and the number of trade destination ports has increased to 80.

 

In terms of timeliness, the average timeliness of China-Europe Banquet (Chengdu) is 7.8% lower than that of the same period last year. In terms of improving operational efficiency, Chengdu International Banquet and Customs have established a customs cooperation mechanism to further reduce the timeliness of customs clearance by transferring customs from other places.
